A little piece I did in my freetime today.

It will be one year since I’ve been working for Geneologie in February, and it has been a great ride! I went back and picked up some images I designed (as best as I could since I can’t even tell you how many I’ve done) and compiled them all together so you can kinda see what I’ve been doing for the past year! I wish I could go back and find all my favorites but it’s hard to remember all those file names…
lots of sweets and lettering today.

New pattern <3
I think I’ll never ever love anything more than drawing cute sea creatures. //sorrynotsorrydealwithit.
**I’d thought I’d add some info: Soo I’m having like this artistic regurgitation of what my work use to be mixed with what I have learned doing so much vector/flat color work. Even interviewing with Carters and them telling me to get rid of the patterns/textures…I’ve had trouble figuring out where I want my artwork to go. So I’ve kinda found this balance working strictly digital where I work flat but then bring my textures back. In other words…TEXTURES I MISSED YOU.
Technically Christmas is sorta, kinda, a little, approaching as well and I figured I’d post these since I haven’t updated in a while.
October is approaching and I’m okay with that ;)
plus I expect myself to make lots of REAL Halloween cupcakes that are similar to this one. nom.
Some days my job makes me want to pull all my hair out and throw rocks at squirrels. Other days, it makes me want to hug babies and cuddle all my turtle figurines.
Hmm I must be up to something ;)
Some Nauti-Nautical Work……just kidding its cute as always.
drew some cute stuff for work this week :)
Here are the gifts I made for my friend Brandon and his wife Emily Loving. They just had a baby boy and his nursery is camping/outdoors themed. I knew I wanted to do something different and not just do a piece of art and get it printed. So I sketched these up and my wonderful boyfriend cut them out of wood and made them pretty so I could paint them and ta-dahhh baby nursery wall hangers :) If anyone is fond of these and would like their own, even in a different design let me know! They were really easy to make and pretty cheap!!!
And thanks to MacKensey for taking some nice photos of them for me. It’s awesome to have a photo lady living with me to make all my stuff look good :P
Also, I got some of my work printed on some fabric and made Ophelia a dress so those photos will be coming as well!
In the works now are some baby blankets to practice on. I got some blankets and im going to practice designing little characters to sew on them. Also on some onesies!
I’m done with all my little animals and I’m sizing them onto some fabric…now I just have to decide what I want to make with it first!!!! I’m thinking diaper bag….or some onesies…SOMETHING CUTE DUH!
Also, I am working on something for my friend Brandon Loving because he and his wife just had a baby boy. The project is in the works as we speak but I want it to be a surprise for them so no pictures till he gets it!!!
